This electronic bike lock was designed as an anti-theft solution that triggers an audible alarm if the lock is cut or tampered with. The system integrates a microcontroller, sensors, and a loud buzzer to provide real-time security for bicycles.
Key Features:
Tamper Detection: The lock continuously monitors its integrity, detecting cuts or forceful interference.
Loud Alarm System: If a breach is detected, a high-decibel buzzer immediately sounds to deter theft.
Smart Alerts (Optional Upgrade): A version of the system could send Bluetooth alerts to a paired smartphone.
Rechargeable Battery: Powered by a compact Li-ion battery, ensuring long-lasting operation.
Weather Resistant: Designed to withstand outdoor conditions.
This project demonstrated expertise in sensor integration, embedded systems programming, and security-focused hardware design, making it a practical prototype for real-world application.
